With the exception of transportation costs to and from Caltech's campus, the YESS program is absolutely free of charge to all admitted students. From the lab equipment to room and board, the program assumes responsibility for all expenses associated with the program. However, we do ask that each participant have medical insurance coverage from an individual or group plan.

Housing
YESS program participants are housed in a dormitory located on the Caltech campus. Trained residential counselors live with the participants for the entire duration of the program. Counselors supervise and assist participants throughout the duration of the program.

Meals
Three meals a day will be provided for the full three weeks. Students will receive a debit card to use at Caltech dining facilties. Students will be responsible for their own use of vending machines and other food purchased. The YESS Program is happy to accommodate any special dietary needs.

Campus Facilities/Recreation
YESS students have access to campus facilities and resources including library and athletic facilities. Caltech’s athletic venues are located on the southwest corner of campus and include a gym, tennis courts, track, and a pool.
