Program dates: June 22 - July 12, 2008

The 2008 application deadline has passed. We are no longer accepting applications.

Who Should Apply:
Outstanding high school sophomores and juniors who are traditionally underrepresented in science and engineering fields ( Native Americans, Latinos, and African-Americans). Others who believe they would benefit from this program are also encouraged to apply.  We accept and review applications from all applicants that are U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Applicants should have excellent high school academic records and must be on track to complete calculus and physics in high school. Admission to the program is very competitive with an anticipated enrollment of 30 students.

Please review our frequently asked questions before applying.

  • A completed online YESS application (includes essay)
  • Two letters of recomendation (at least one letter must be from a math or science teacher) recommendation form

  • Standardized test scores (PSAT, SAT I or ACT)
